She Works Hard for the Money - Hardcover

by Marty Ludlum (Author)

You can dance. You can jive. You'll have the time of your life with the Disco Divas!

Detective Donna Summer Wyznecki of Vegas is BACK. This time Donna is guarding a kindergartner named Penny in a luxurious penthouse suite on the Vegas Strip. And for this, she suffered through years at the police academy? After cartoons and cheeseburgers, Penny takes a nap. Donna suddenly becomes dizzy and collapses. Once revived, she realizes she's been drugged, the child is gone, and so is her service pistol. Freak! When a ransom call comes in, Donna's career looks bleak, as does any hope of ever seeing Penny alive again.

Can Donna rescue Penny? At what cost? In this case, like in all of Vegas, things are not always as they appear.

Detective Donna gathers her eclectic troupe including Raincoat Ronnie, a Shirley Temple look-alike, a part-time psychic, and her 7-foot-tall partner. If anyone can find that poor missing girl, the Disco Divas will.

She Works Hard for the Money is the second in the Disco Divas series. Boogie on down, gentle readers.
