Skin - Paperback

by Timothy Hargreaves (Author)

Something is changing inside Dan Nowak.

A wildlife officer in the high country of Colorado, Dan is drawn to the natural world-the land and the animals he protects.

As he moves closer to nature, he begins to question the impact of modern life, his place within it, and the responsibility he carries. A sudden crack in consciousness pulls him headlong into the experience of the wild.

This fracture propels Dan on a journey of wonder and reckoning, as he speeds toward an uncertain destination.

Set against the dramatic backdrops of Colorado and Yellowstone, SKIN is a novel that explores the tensions between modern life and the fragile beauty of the wild-contemplating grief, belonging, ecological memory, and transformation.
