Book Overview

by R. D. Gill (Author)

The dreams of Manuel Gomez were not that much different than any other 18-year-old red blooded American boy. He wants to move away from the future his parents had planned for him, to a life created by his own choices.

The first of those choices would include a warmer climate, then once there, he would figure the rest out. Maybe he'd join the military, enroll in a college, or just find a job doing anything but ranching in northeastern Wyoming. Packing up his worldly possessions, which consists of a backpack full of clothes, a pair of boots and his old pickup truck, he decided El Paso Texas would be a warm place to start. Using his faith and his family for a compass he finds himself in complete control of his destiny.

Unfortunately, he had not prepared himself for the evil and hatred which exist in the hearts of men who are thousands of miles away. A hatred that has been festering in the dusty caves of Toro Bora, a complete ocean away from him. These men had been planning to destroy the American way of life he has just started to carve out for himself.

Without warning, Manuel found himself in a maze of evil. Battling life and death situations that spanned beyond his wildest dreams.
