Star Bourn: Ghosts of the Republic - Paperback

by David Hart (Author)

In the far reaches of space, an ancient power stirs.

The threat of the Pale Horse has been extinguished, and for Captain James Severre, normalcy has returned. Beneath the veneer of peace, however, the vengeance of one zauhlon is brewing - one that promises to change the course of galactic history forever.

Overlord Gorr, leader of the zauhlon people, has sworn to avenge the death of his friend, Lord Admiral Korruk. His cause seems hopeless until an unexpected ally from a bygone era steps forward with an offer: a super weapon capable of upending the balance of power in the galaxy.

Now, Captain Severre and the Wolf Pack must journey to the far reaches of the Milky Way with one objective: Stop Gorr before disaster strikes. Along the way, an unknown plague contracted during a fateful encounter with the enemy threatens to strip Severre of his command. Ill or not, he resolves to see the mission through - even if it means going AWOL.
