She plays along, while making attempts to contact her true family, even stealing away to visit them in Colorado, under the pretense that she is Rebekah's childhood friend. When Leo locates her, Rebekah's effort to explain her situation to him falls on deaf ears. The medical community's sway is powerful, but she is the puzzle doctors will never piece.
