In Surviving the Precipice, we see Paul Michaels, his family, and friends struggling to navigate their new world. The attacks on the United States are having a devastating effect. No one knows exactly what happened. An international alliance of America's enemies has banded together to bring the United States to her knees in a multi-faceted attack. They targeted nearly every aspect of the nation's infrastructure. The food stopped, the lights went out, and 911 stopped working.
