Wyoming is untamable, a free spirit, a place where cattlemen rule and no one gets in their way. This land taints a man, it changes him; it's a place that can blacken the soul.Colonel Dutchester Whitefeather's soul blackened the day his blood sister was murdered. He never thought he would have to choose between revenge on those found 'not guilty', or keeping one of them alive. Now that he is stuck with the woman until he can find a way to get his cattle back, unharmed, perhaps revenge is not what the ancestors were telling him when on his vision quest. Perhaps he was meant to sustain her life just long enough to find the truth behind her lies.Catalina LeRue wants out of Wyoming. She has no desire to be one of six tagged because of a squaw's murder. Nor does she care to encounter Dutch. Unfortunately, life isn't always the way one wants it to be. Once tagged, there is no going back...for anyone.
