That This Nation Might Live: Butterflies of Gettysburg Book 1 - Paperback

by Sandra Saidak (Author), Thomas Saidak (Author)

Hoping to prevent the collapse of civilization, three Civil War reenactors travel back in time to a critical turning point: Gettysburg, July 4th, 1863. There Dani, an Army nurse, Peter, a brilliant futurist, and Anton, a gifted musician, go on an adventure through nineteenth century America. There they will cause political, social and scientific revolutions which they hope will rewrite the end of the nineteenth century to avoid the catastrophes of the twentieth and twenty-first. If they succeed, the United States may begin to live up to its promises to all of its people. But sinister forces are determined to prevent such radical changes from ever happening.Fans of Harry Turtledove, S.M. Stirling, and Eric Flint will want to read this new foray into time travel and alternative history by veteran author Sandra Saidak, who, for this novel, has joined forces with her husband Thomas.
