That's Life: Arlissa's Encore - Paperback

Between emotionally triggering nightmares and holding onto the pieces of reality that she has left, Arlissa's story continues in this perplexing second novel that reintroduces her to the world.

When would you realize that the reality you're living in isn't yours?

For Arlissa Benson, nothing was more important than experiencing a love that burned brighter than the ones on movie screens. But falling for a famous boxer proved to be more dangerous than expected when police ambushed their condo and arrested her for his murder in the middle of the night. She had given up everything to mold herself into the person he asked her to be. However, when she needs a support system the most, no one is left to care. The bridges she burned are proving to be unfixable.

Arlissa finds herself lost in two worlds and struggling to find her exit. In one, she's a mother and bringing down an empire. But in the other, she's alone in a world that's lacking color.

Who do you run to when you can't trust your own reflection? Arlissa finds her hope in a child, an unlikely friend, and for once herself.

Is it real? Is it fake? Or is it all just life?
