The Abduction at Baskerville Hall - Paperback

by Thomas Mengert (Author)

The world of Holmes is a world of contradictions. Mysteries no author has solved... until now.

What dark truths lie within the heart of Baskerville Hall? Can Detective Sherlock Holmes and his indomitable companion, Dr. John Watson, outwit the nefarious Professor James Moriarty, whose plots threaten the very heart of the British Empire? How will they use their wits and bravery to outmaneuver a foe who is always two steps ahead? What secrets do Lady Beryl's past hold, and how are they connected to the nefarious plans of her abduction?

Lifelong Sherlockian scholar Thomas Mengert has drawn aside the curtain of history, unraveling and reweaving to reveal a deeper Sherlock Holmes than even the original works by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A decade in the making, The Confessions of Sherlock Holmes is a multi-volume pilgrimage that frames "the problem of evil" as a philosophical investigation in search of a theological answer.

The adventure continues in The Abduction at Baskerville Hall as Holmes and Watson confront their most perilous case yet, facing off against the cunning Moriarty and delving into mysteries that stretch from Baskerville Hall to the fog-shrouded streets of London to the exotic dangers of Persia and beyond. The duo embarks on a quest to rescue Lady Beryl from the clutches of Rodger Baskerville, a man whose villainy knows no bounds. Their journey is a testament to courage, justice, and the enduring power of friendship, as they navigate through schemes of abduction, forgery, and the dark underbelly of society.
