The Adventures of Pistol Pete: The Christmas Miracle - Paperback

by Loraine Rossi (Author)

Join Pistol Pete the pig and his family as they learn the meaning of unconditional love and compassion in an incredible true story of life on the farm.

Pistol Pete is a special pig-and he knows it, thanks to the love, hard work, and dedication of his human family! At a local pig farm, Farmer Bob and Farmer Kenny discover Pete, a small piglet whose life is in danger. Smaller and more sickly than the others, they work quickly to save the little creature's life.

Farmer Kenny, Farmer Bob, Bob's wife Lori, and Lori's sister Jaci rescue Pete together, beginning the amazing journey of helping him grow into a strong and healthy pig. Lori only has a little experience raising pigs-and none taking one in as a part of the family-so she and her family have their hands full. But with a lot of love and plenty of support, Pete's life is in good hands.

Today, Pete lives at the barn where he was born, enjoying his own house and fenced-in yard, thanks to Farmer Kenny's craftsmanship. With lots of visitors to spend time with, and plenty of cherry slices to pig out on, Pete is living the high life, all thanks to the efforts of the good people around him.

Inspired by her life's events, Lori decided to share Pete's story with everyone. Now young readers can see the heartwarming true story of a pig who is dearly loved. The Adventures of Pistol Pete is the full tale of Pete's journey, illustrated in gorgeous color. Sure to inspire joy in the lives of kids, this book is a family adventure for the ages. A lighthearted, endearing story that's easy to read along with, The Adventures of Pistol Pete is the perfect gift for animal-loving families everywhere.
