Book Overview

by Sandie Will (Author)

A father's deception. A daughter's nightmare. A facility that hides more than it heals.

Award-winning author Sandie Will delivers a gripping psychological thriller about power, control, and the terrifying secrets inside Deadwater Manor.

Seventeen-year-old Jeannie Kynde doesn't trust her father. He's been distant for years, cold, and manipulative. So when he suddenly hands her the keys to a brand-new car and insists she visit Deadwater Manor, Jeannie hesitates. Something feels off. But his guilt-laced pressure leaves her no choice.

She drives herself to Deadwater ... and straight into danger.

The moment she arrives, the doors lock behind her. The staff won't let her leave. And Jeannie realizes she's held against her will and cut off from the outside world. Jeannie must navigate violent patients, predatory staff, and a system designed to break her. Every day inside Deadwater pushes her closer to the truth, and closer to the darkness she never knew existed.

A tense, atmospheric psychological thriller perfect for fans of Sharp Objects, Girl Interrupted, and dark, character-driven suspense.

The Caging at Deadwater Manor is Book 1 in the Deadwater Manor Asylum Series.
