by Geoffrey K. Leigh (Author)

The Catalyst Coalition: From Broken to Healing Heart. Three midwestern best friends, move to the West Coast for college. They continue their exploration of social changes they hope will create a more supportive environment in which to raise families. When the pandemic strikes, two friends sequester in a new family home. The lack of alternatives provides an opportunity to delve into their own blind spots, defenses, getting more honest and authentic with themselves, each other, and their families. When tragedy strikes, a group of strangers come together to attempt significant social change. The core group develops diverse approaches for personal development, evolving norms, and legislative reforms to bring about a broader approach to life. The expanding assemblage must work through grief, self-doubt, and obstacles to find out if their commitment is strong enough to carry out their intentions. The Catalyst Coalition limns the story of this four decade journey into the future.
