The Cession - Paperback

by John Thornton (Author)

As the flood of illegal immigrants overpowered the United States, Americans stood by helpless, waiting for a solution. Cities depleted all resources to house and support the undocumented. Crime is increasing on the streets. The message, that if you come to America, everything is free, echoed across the Internet. The United States needs an answer, and the answer lies between the covers of this book.

My mother always said to understand the present, we must look back and remember the past. One hundred and seventy-five years ago, the United States was at war with Mexico. To end the war, the United States pressured Mexico to give up over fifty percent of all the territory they possessed. Today, several states in the southwestern region of the United States were part of this 1848 cession of land. Mexico has patiently waited over one hundred and seventy-five years but now, plans to take it all back.
