Book Overview

In the shadow of the infamous Borley Rectory, a site steeped in haunting legends, Father Shaun and Sister Adriana embark on a daring quest to uncover the truth behind decades of supernatural occurrences. Armed with faith and courage, they delve into the past, seeking to understand the tragic fate of Marie Lairre, a nun whose restless spirit is said to roam the grounds.

As they travel back in time to 1943, they encounter Harry Price, a renowned ghost hunter digging for the bones of a nun believed to be haunting the rectory. He shares a chilling legend of love and betrayal: a monk and nun who dared to defy their vows, only to face a horrific punishment. But the true story lies with Marie, who was murdered by her fiancé, Henry Waldegrave, and now seeks peace.

With each leap through time, Shaun and Adriana witness the harrowing events that led to Marie's tragic fate, confronting a malevolent demon that has ensnared her spirit. As they navigate the dark corridors of history, they uncover the true source of the hauntings and the sinister forces at play.

In a race against time, they must confront the demon that seeks to claim Marie's soul, battling both physically and spiritually to free her from its clutches. With the fate of Marie and the sanctity of the rectory hanging in the balance, Shaun and Adriana must summon all their strength and resolve to banish the evil once and for all.

Returning to the present day, they discover that their actions have altered the course of history, as the haunting reports from the Society of Psychical Research reveal a newfound peace at Borley Rectory. But will the echoes of the past truly be silenced, or will the darkness return to haunt them once more?
