Nyri has spent her life never feeling like enough to her own family because of her body size. When she gets kicked out of the one place she has known, she is forced to flee to the Demon King's estate to start a new life.

What she doesn't expect is to catch the attention of the one male she should never want.

As the immortal ruler of the demon realm, Zathrian is forbidden from touching humans. Breaking that law could cost him everything. But from the moment he meets Nyri, resisting her becomes impossible.

What begins as stolen glances and secret meetings soon ignites into a forbidden obsession neither of them can control. The more time Nyri spends within the demon king's walls, the more she discovers that someone is determined to keep humans and demons apart-no matter how much blood must be spilled.

Now Nyri must choose between the safety of the world that never wanted her...or risk everything for the one demon who sees her as something to be treasured.
