The Duke's Bloody Bargain - Paperback

by Barbara Russell (Author)

He gave up his soul to be with her...

Alex, the Duke of the Dark Court, rules a palace and commands a vampire's power, yet he lives like a prisoner-because every touch brings him agony, even the touch of Irene, the woman who holds his heart. Desperate to feel her the way a mortal man would, he makes a bargain with a dark witch: the chance to hold Irene at last, in exchange for a sacrifice she refuses to name.

But the moment he finally gives in to his passion, his grip on his thirst begins to fail. His reflection blurs in the mirror, his humanity thins, and as a rogue vampire carves a bloody path through London, Alex feels the same hunger waking in himself. The duke who surrendered his soul to be close to Irene is becoming the monster London has most to fear.
