Welcome to Glimmerhollow!
For children, big feelings don't come with instructions...but what if they did?
In this first book of the Tales of the Little Lights series, children are given the language, the stories, and the gentle tools to understand what's happening inside them one feeling at a time.
Through six beautifully illustrated stories, young readers will meet six unforgettable Little Lights, each navigating emotions children know deeply, like:
- the sadness of a day when nothing feels quite right
- the overwhelm of a world that feels too loud
- the ache of feeling different or not quite fitting in
- the wonder of learning to truly listen and connect
In Glimmerhollow, every feeling has a name, a story, and a way through.
Each story is paired with an interactive journal and activity page, including drawing prompts, simple breathing exercises, and gentle reflection questions-perfect for home, classrooms, or small group settings. Children can return to these stories again and again, especially in the moments they need them most.
This book also includes six original coloring pages-one for each Little Light-inviting children to bring Glimmerhollow to life in their own unique way and extend the magic long after the last word is read.
Grounded in the CASEL social-emotional learning framework and woven with mindfulness practices, The Glow Within is more than a storybook. It's a supportive tool to help children understand, express, and move through their feelings with confidence and care.
