The Invitation - Paperback

On the island kingdom of Meta Emery, a young queen wakes in the middle of the night to a terrifying realisation; hostile wizards from the rival kingdom of Archmond have finally achieved what they've long threatened. They have brought a girl into this world to destroy her. Lucy.

Hundreds of miles west, in Archmond itself, a great feast unfolds in the castle to celebrate Lucy's arrival. Soleman, one of the wizards, has promised his people that Lucy is the heroine an ancient prophecy predicted and the turmoil throughout their world will soon be over. But fellow wizard and ruler Ron remains dubious that this meek and troubled girl could really overthrow the eastern queen, or if she will even want to.
