The Librarian's Lantern - Paperback

by Penelope Dalton (Author)

Her life is a perfect list. He's the beautiful chaos she never planned for.

Rose Kim, the meticulous heart of the Maplewood Falls Library, believes life should be organized, predictable, and fully accounted for in a planner. Her biggest focus is organizing the town's annual, magical Lantern Festival, an event so perfect it leaves no room for error, or for romance.

But when a handsome, free-spirited traveling artist arrives in town for the festival with no agenda, no phone, and a smile that disarms all her defenses, Rose's perfectly ordered world gets a beautiful shake-up. He's here to paint the town, but he seems more interested in getting to know the woman behind the clipboard.

As the Lantern Festival approaches, Rose must choose between the safe comfort of her plans and the exciting, unknown path of following her heart. Can a woman who believes only in black and white risk everything for a man whose whole life is painted in vibrant color?

Sometimes, the wish you need is the one you didn't know you wrote down.
