The Lindworm - Paperback

Once upon a time, there was a barren queen, who'd tried every magic and medicine known to conceive a child, and all had failed. Till one day an old woman said to her, "Place a tea cup in the garden tonight, and in the morning two roses will have grown beneath it. Eat the red and have a son. Eat the white and have a daughter. But whatever you do, do not eat both!" But the Queen did not listen, and devoured both roses, and in doing so cursed her kingdom to the wrath of a terrible dragon that demands to be wed, only to consume his bride on the wedding night. Soon only the brave gardener's daughter, Eira, remains to break the curse. Will she learn the power of her magic in time to save the person who matters most? A retelling of the Norwegian fairytale of The Lindworm Prince, with a twist. Spells, dragons, and mysterious happenings abound in this tale of finding the confidence in yourself to battle even the most terrible of monsters!
