The Matter With Me - Paperback

In this posthumous release, author Sandra A. Gallego walks us through her oft-difficult life, one essay at a time. She had written The Matter With Me decades ago for her college thesis-these stories are now being published for the first time. Full of rich, colorful imagery, Gallego shines a light on her childhood, her struggles as a single mother of three, and her quest to find the ever-elusive women's rights she so deserved. These arduous, though sometimes humorous stories will resonate with anyone who has struggled with life on the lower rung.
