The Middleton Woods Stalker - Paperback

When a young woman is found brutally murdered in the bustling suburban village of Middleton, Leeds, shock ripples through the community. DI George Beaumont is hoping to close the case quickly, but whoever the culprit is, left no evidence behind.

Autumn has arrived-the nights are getting darker, and the skies are filling up with rain-and with the events of The Cross Flatts Snatcher firmly on his mind, and the Detective Superintendent breathing down his neck, an unsolved murder is the last thing George needs. Pulled in all directions, the HMET is stretched far too thin, which means somebody is going to slip between the cracks. George just hopes that somebody isn't the murderer.

Another woman vanishes and by the time George and his team connect the two cases, it's a race against time to stop the ferocious murderer from striking again. How can DI Beaumont find a killer who hides in plain sight, one that knows the area, and has a taste for killing?

The Middleton Woods Stalker is the fifth book in the Detective George Beaumont thriller series, set in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
