The Murder Hobbyist - Paperback

by Frank Lazarus (Author)

"The Murder Hobbyist is a clever and twisty meta-mystery where fiction and reality blur as an author-turned-suspect races to solve two murders-including one he didn't commit. With sharp twists and intriguing characters, this is a must-read for mystery lovers!" - NewInBooks.com/

Frank Lazarus is an author whose novels include "The Murder Gambit," and the "April Fools" duology. In his new book, THE MURDER HOBBYIST, Lazarus puts down his pen and picks up a gun.

Lazarus murders an ex-boss in Philadelphia. Upon his return to Hilton Head, he learns he is a suspect in his girlfriend's murder. Lazarus elects to turn investigator to find her murderer.

As the two investigations progress, Lazarus encounters characters from his previous novels and "103 First Dates," creating an intriguing meta-narrative.

This cross-genre concept cleverly merges true crime elements with fictional murder mysteries and the author's real and imagined worlds collide.
