Natalie Green finds comfort in the seductive voice of romance audiobook narrator Dean Craven, a man whose identity is hidden behind a mask but whose voice has been the center of her fantasies. After another terrible week working for a toxic boss and roommate gone for the week, all she wants to do is curl up and listen to her audiobook boyfriend. But when a tall, tattooed, British stranger moves into the Airbnb next door Natalie's attention shifts and fast. Their chemistry is instant, magnetic, and very hard to ignore.

Famous for his voice as Dean Craven, he is intensely private as Dean Roberts, and does everything he can to make sure his identity is hidden. Captivated by Natalie from afar for a year on social media, Dean decides to take a reckless chance by booking the Airbnb next door and take a temporary job at her media company to protect her from the terrible workplace that's been slowly breaking her spirit.

Complicating things further Dean's younger brother, Teddy, hijacked his trip. Struggling with his career he turns to his brother in desperate need for help and advice. What began as an unwanted intrusion soon became an unexpected chance to confront old wounds and rebuild the bond they thought to be long gone.

As Dean and Natalie become closer, secrets threaten to get revealed. Not only his, but everyone in their inner circle, including the company they work for.
