Book Overview

by Rod Griffiths (Author)

Taking inspiration from Kipling's Just So Stories, this collection includes answers to such fascinating questions as Why Pigs Don't Fly, Why Swallows Sit on Phone Wires and many others. Whimsy and rationality fight it out across the collection. Some of it may even be true.

Author Biography

Rod Griffiths spent many years as a professor of public health. One important skill required was to be able to imagine different futures and help prevent the nasty one. Now retired and writing fiction, the constraint of practicality is removed and his imagination takes centre stage.
