The Pumpernickel Pelican - Hardcover

The Pumpernickel Pelican is the first of multiple volumes to convey value from the differences among all living things. Book one focuses on the globally traveled bird, who observes people. Later editions address that same bird's insight into pets, plant life, insects, outer space, aquatic life, and more. Colorful illustrations portray both reality and imaginative thought, holding a child's attention while poetic verbiage relays principles of fairness, empathy, and acceptance. Planting seeds of appreciation that we all have value to contribute is one more step toward nurturing self-esteem, stifling imposed tendencies to criticize with negative judgment, and building on each child's instinct to be kind.
