Harlow Thornhart is the woman who put the original "sin" in Sin City. A legend in the business world, she has never been one to back away from a lucrative transaction. From her penthouse office in Las Vegas, Harlow watches over both humanity and creatures alike. As one of the world's top CEOs, she has mastered the art of buying, selling, and trading the world's rarest items. When Matthew Broussard, a wealthy vampire from New Orleans, reneges on their deal, she drops everything to hunt him down. Teaming up with her old friend, and voodoo priestess, Marie Laveau, Harlow soon discovers things may not be what they seem, and far more is at stake than just her reputation. By day, Chase Deveraux is the head of the ER at one of the busiest hospitals in New Orleans. By night, he and his brothers hunt down rogue members of The Diverse, creatures who are intent on harming humans. When a local businessman, and suspected vampire, is mysteriously found dead, Chase and, his police detective brother, Randy, set out to uncover who is responsible for the newest murder in their hometown. As their vastly different worlds collide, a more diabolical scheme is soon discovered-one that forces these enemies to work together to uncover who is trying to change the world and take Harlow's place as "The Purveyor."
