When StreGo's partners start dying, the company hires detectives Mad Dog Cotton, his wife Cheri, and their partner Ray Jones to figure out who is murdering investors. Only minutes after the private detectives are hired and leave StreGo's attorney's office, an assassin casually walks into the attorney's office and shoots the attorney and his secretary in the head.

Wyoming native Tom Sedar's life has been a fun ride. As a young man he worked as a ranch hand, rodeo cowboy, rough neck, and commercial diver. In 1984 Tom quit his wondering life to attend Law School at the University of Wyoming. After Law School he had a 25-year career as a trial lawyer.
