The Tortoise and The Hare and The Jetpack - Paperback

Born in Chicago Illinois, Steven Novak has spent the whole of his life creating. After attending The Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus Ohio for four years he moved to California where he married his wife and grade school teacher, Tamara. The pair have been together for nearly a decade. While working as a freelance illustrator and graphic artist, with occasional product and web design, he produced several successful blogs and began to slowly piece together the story that would eventually become "Forts." The first in a series of three, "Forts: Fathers and Sons" is an intensely personal piece of fantasy that intertwines aspects of horror and science fiction as well. Written as a trilogy the second in the series is due out in 2011, and the third a year later. His work can be found online at www.novakillustration.com
