Most people say the treasure is just a myth, but Ruby is determined to prove the naysayers wrong and save the day.

Ruth White has written many middle grade and young adult books. Her books include Way Down Deep, The Treasure of Way Down Deep, A Month of Sundays, The Search for Belle Prater, and Belle Prater's Boy. She received the Newbery Honor Award for Belle Prater's Boy. She lives in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.
