He and his new friends, who all share different abilities, soon learn that they are part of the Fae. They are descended from elves, dwarves, gnomes, shaman, casters, and holy warriors.

Jake and his friends are quickly thrust into several puzzling quests, the most daring of which is to find and confront a group of other-worldly beings called The Wicked Three. Through prophecies, portals, and visits to both near and distant lands, the group of friends risks everything in their pursuit of the truth about their school, their parents, and about each of their destinies.
