Book Overview

by Margery Allingham (Author)

When a seemingly ordinary seaside holiday turns sinister, amateur sleuths and seasoned detectives alike are drawn into a baffling case in THE WHITE COTTAGE MYSTERY, the debut mystery featuring the unforgettable Albert Campion. A body in a peaceful coastal setting, curious clues, and a web of deception set the stage for a classic Golden Age whodunit. As suspicion ripples through a cast of intriguing characters, it takes sharp observation and deductive reasoning to uncover the truth behind the tranquil façade of the white cottage.

Combining atmospheric British settings with clever plotting and a compelling series lead, this Impact Books edition revives one of Margery Allingham's most engaging early mysteries for today's readers of traditional crime fiction.
