The Wish List is a heartwarming rhyming story for children. It tells of a young girl, Katie, who makes a list of all the games, toys, and clothes that she would like Santa to bring her for Christmas. Katie's mother takes her to the mall to meet Santa. While she is in line waiting her turn, Katie overhears a poor father and son talking behind her. What she hears them say makes her sad. The father tells his son not to ask Santa for much. If Santa brings gifts he is likely to just bring one. Katie is very moved by this. When it is her turn, she sits on Santa's lap and whispers that he should bring what's on the list to the boy who is next in line.

The Wish List is a touching reminder for children (and adults) that giving is more important than receiving. And how important it is to put others before ourselves.
