The Words and Wisdom of DEAN SMITH: Legendary North Carolina Basketball Coach - Paperback

Get to know Dean Smith, the coach who recruited and coached basketball legend Michael Jordan, coached the US men's national basketball team to an Olympic gold medal and retired with 879 wins (4th most in men's college Division I basketball history). Not only did Smith lead his University of North Carolina Tarheels to 13 Atlantic Coast Conference tournament championships, appearances in 11 Final Fours, five national title games, and 2 NCAA championships, but more than 95% percent of Smith's players graduated. This little book was put together to given a "feel" for the man behind the legend. By primarily using Smith's own words and the words of others talking about him, you will be able to get a more personal look at Dean Smith. You will walk away with an intimate introduction to the man that some have referred to as the greatest college basketball coach of all time. "There are more exhaustive works on the personal and coaching life of Dean Smith, but this little gem is the best place to start."
