Thoughts: If you could read minds, what would you do? - Paperback

by Phoebe Roux (Author), Tammy Kingdon (Illustrator), Neil Catchpole (Cover Design by)

For fans of The Time Traveller's Wife, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and Gone Girl, Thoughts is the first novel in the ten-book speculative fiction 2095 Series exploring the premise: What could happen, if humanity had Power?

I know what you're thinking.

You're wondering whether this book is worth your time. You're trying to decide whether it's cliché that I, Katelyn, a character from this story, am talking to you while you deliberate. You're probably also thinking about at least ten other things that have been fluttering across your mind throughout your day.

My parents died when I was seven years old. That crippling loss brought pain. Avoidance. The kind of crushing loneliness that makes a child feel truly isolated.

It also brought Power.

I can read minds. I can't help it. I hear the thoughts of everyone around me and no, it's not a nice Power. But it's mine.

This is a story about a woman whose thoughts I overheard. A woman who, within the privacy of her own mind, planned to end her own life.

A woman whose silence changed my life, forever.
