by V. Knox (Author)

the past endures...Bede Hall, a haunted English stately home in the heart of Northumberland, has remade itself into the star of a television series featuring three generations of Egyptologists with deep secrets who uncannily mirror its family's history. But the Hall's newest generation must continue to untangle the dilemma of its resident child ghost and engage the decidedly-strange villagers of nearby Bede to resolve an old score with an ancient curse.

Bede Hall has topiaries that wander about at night, a colony of trickster fairies, secret passages, time portals, and several resident ghosts. It rules over an eccentric group of twice-born villagers, a band of guardian animals, and controls the local weather. But even a grand three-hundred-year-old stately home can't rest on its laurels. It must keep up with the changing times in order to vanquish the demons of its shady past, and herald the next heroes of its glorious future. It falls to the Great Sphinx of Egypt, the rules of twindom, the power of nine, and a team of teenagers braving Bede Hall's time corridors with several otherworldly allies to honor a pact made with the Green Man and save the planet from becoming a ball of blue ice orbiting the sun.The 'Twinters' are running out of time in a landscape where history is positively ancestral.... surviving is as changeable as the weather
