Treasured Legacy - Paperback

by Rachel Fitzjames (Author)

A treasure lurks beneath the surface.

Everett Rockford expects to enjoy a peaceful summer break while keeping an eye on his grandfather's recovery from illness. A boathouse to himself, a return to his favorite childhood vacation spot, and a change of pace that might offer the opportunity to write that book he's been meaning to draft? It's a dream come true, until his grandfather's own budding romance and an unexpected visitor toss those plans to the bottom of Lake Ontario.

Mia Blake has finally had enough from her interfering parents after she has to defend herself from the date they arranged. A trip out to visit her estranged grandfather is just what she needs, but sharing the boathouse with a stuffy English teacher-and learning about the Blake family history, from her own childhood back to Prohibition-ensures the summer takes a surprising turn.

As they join forces to unravel the secrets of a legendary treasure, Mia and Everett's search captures the attention of those who will go to any length to find it for themselves.

And Mia's legacy might just obliterate her newfound happiness.
