Mike Brooks is a science fiction and fantasy author who lives in Nottingham. His recent work for Black Library includes the Warhammer 40,000 novels Voidscarred, Lelith Hesperax: Queen of Knives, Da Big Dakka and The Lion: Son of the Forest. He has also written Brutal Kunnin, Harrowmaster, Huron Blackheart: Master of the Maelstrom, Warboss, Da Gobbo's Revenge and the Horus Heresy Primarchs novel Alpharius: Head of the Hydra as well as many others. When not writing, he plays guitar and sings in a punk band, and DJs wherever anyone will tolerate him.
