Book Overview

by L. a. Smith (Author)

Love is the furthest thought from Keon 'KC' Carter's mind. He's having too much fun being a bachelor. However, once he takes a different look at the sultry Shaeterra Jackson, he can't stop thinking about her. Still, his lust for her doesn't keep him from whipping out his manhood every chance he gets. It's not until he loses what matters most to him does he realize it's time for a change. Taleed Wallace never wanted a complicated relationship, and he thought he had escaped having one with Kendra Matthews. That is until her former boyfriend shows up at her door. On top of that, Taleed is faced with a bigger battle to fight on behalf of his son's mother, who crawls into the picture with a complicated situation. Karma has a way of coming back to bite you when you least expect it. Muscled out of a huge business deal by Chaz, Jaxsen Morris just knew her relationship with him was over and tries hard to rid herself of the memory of him. However, something unexpectedly happens that will bond the two of them together for life. She only hopes he accepts her back after the verbal abuse she inflicted on him. "When Love Calls" is a novel about three relationships that go through emotional turmoil for the sake of happiness. Can Taleed balance the relationship with his son's mother while at the same time continuing a more intimate one with Kendra? Will Jaxsen and Chaz revive what they started even through some challenging hurdles? Is it too late for womanizing KC to settle down with a good girl like Shaeterra? How would you respond when love suddenly sneaks up on you when you're least expecting it?
