Wicked Games - Paperback

by Kerrie Dubrock (Author)

Antique shop owner Emily Waters hasn't lead a normal life since she cheated death when she was a child. Maintaining lasting relationships is a struggle when people think she's a freak, especially when they learn she talks to ghosts. But no soul has ever made her feel uneasy until she meets Chase. Architect Chase Storm is into designing phenomenal buildings across the world, not building relationships. After loving and losing he designed a concept called 'Seven Days of Heaven'. Date a chick for seven days, have his way with her and move on. No commitments, no expectations, but more importantly, no heartache. But after meeting Emily he begins to second guess himself. An evil lurks in the city of Chicago known as the Grey One. He's followed by a group of entities in search of lost souls to add to his growing army. Shekinah, a powerful angel, has been a burr on Grey's backside for a millennia. She won the game started long ago when he tried to capture Emily's soul. Now Grey's returned to continue his wicked game and to take what he believes is rightfully his.
