Shy djinn, Gena Black steps outside her comfort zone when she agrees to attend an extravagant Christmas party to deliver a special gift on behalf of her closest friend. She's hoping for a quick drop-and-go but is thwarted by the approach of a magnetic man she recognizes from long, long ago.

Bayn Long's inner dragon sees his mate as soon as she walks through the grand doors of the party, wearing a body-hugging red party dress. He's captivated, sure he's met the mysterious, beautiful brunette before, but unable to recall where or when.

How can a shy Djinn and a lonely Dragon overcome their pasts to make a future for themselves? Or will Gena's past catch up to her and destroy their budding relationship?
