Lauren Gardiner is Curator of the Cambridge University Herbarium and a member of the RHS Orchid Committee. He was Deputy Keeper of the Herbarium and Curator of the Orchid Herbarium at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, until his retirement in 2006.
