As the owner of cat, this little boy was full of life and adventurous to say the least. He always likes to play outdoors, at one with nature. Climbing trees, playing in the vineyards, the hay stacks in the barn and finding all sorts of mischief to get into. However, this particular day, he was very tired and wanted nothing more than to sleep in his bed. BUT, the cat had other ideas. She wanted fuss, she wanted food and she wanted to play outside. However, playing makes her hungry and as you will see in the story, the tiredness takes its toll on the little fella. Follow their daytime adventure and enjoy the journey that they take together.
Author Biography
Christopher was born to a naval officer father and a nurse, mother, in February 1978, Portsmouth, England. As an aircraft engineer, Chris never thought to be a writer. But as a father himself to 3 children he has been inspired from their love of books, colorful illustrations and the joy that they bring to his children as they grow up. The fact they can recite a lot of them and memorize the stories was also a 'WOW' factor. So, one night after a dream about Chris' cat, he came up with a title for the book when she woke him up early in the morning begging for her breakfast. And so this story and many others started to take shape. Chris hopes to bring the joy he shares with his children to many others around the world. The illustrations have been beautifully drawn by Chris's niece, Megan Mary Hough who is studying graphic design and computer gaming art at a university in Manchester, UK.
