About Diane Edwards Books
Diane Edwards has a Bachelors and Master's Degrees in Art and Education and has been writing about and painting Scandinavian folk art for over 35 years. She is a Master Folk Artist through the Colorado Council on the Arts and has a Scandinavian Tine on permanent exhibit at the Santa Fe International Folk Art Museum. She has decorated the interiors of many buildings with folk art and hundreds of pieces of furniture and other wooden objects. She lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband Dale who helps her with her art shows. They have two children and three grandchildren. Diane also paints oil on canvas and pastels. She is a Signature Member of the Colorado Pastel Society and is an award winning artist and teacher. Diane has written eight books on Scandinavian Folk Art six of which are still in print. She has also editted books and written one book about Sigmund Aarseth Norway's leading rosemaler. She has a website www.nordic-arts.com
