About Jane Peppler Books
Jane Peppler graduated from Yale University with a degree in Russian Language and Literature. She played with the Yale Symphony, the School of Music orchestra, and the Locrian Quartet. She transcribed and arranged Balkan songs for and performed with the a cappella group Laduvane. She directed the Triangle Jewish Chorale in Durham NC for fourteen years and was music director for the Cantor Corps at Judea Reform Congregation. She performs with world music group Mappamundi and this book is part of their Cabaret Warsaw project. She has translated three novels by Jacob Dineson from Yiddish into English.
