Latoya Chandler is a single mom turned entrepreneur, an author, advisor, a single mother of five, and a native New Yorker. Chandler writes with passion while crafting believable, flawed, and hopeful characters. She hopes that may influence more sympathetic readers to understand the many issues and struggles she experienced in her own life. After years of self-publishing, Latoya took a leap of faith to find a major publisher, securing her place in 2018 on the team of powerhouse publishing company Urban Books/Kensington.
