Quinta Scott made hundreds of photographs for Newton Stop!, which she converted into drawings. This is her first children's book. She has photographed and written books for adults on the Mississippi River, Route 66, and the Eads Bridge. She lives in Waterloo, Illinois with her husband, Barrie, and Newton Stop! and Chooka.
