Robin Frederick is the author of popular songwriting books Shortcuts to Hit Songwriting, Shortcuts to Songwriting for Film & TV, Study the Hits, The 30-Minute Songwriter, and Song Starters.. She's a former Director of A&R for Rhino Records, executive producer of more than 60 albums, and an in-demand lecturer in the music industry. She has written and produced hundreds of songs for television, records, theater, and audio products. A former Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Recording Academy (the Grammy organization) and former President of Los Angeles Women in Music, Robin is currently active in numerous music industry organizations.
