A Dog Named Lucky - Hardcover

A Dog Named Lucky is a heartwarming children's story about Alex, a spirited 10-year-old boy living in Chicago who convinces his parents to adopt a large German Shepherd from a local pet shop. What starts as an ordinary trip to find a family pet quickly becomes an extraordinary adventure when Alex and his family discover that Lucky is no ordinary dog.

With the ability to fly, talk, and hear trouble from a mile away, Lucky uses his remarkable gifts to protect children from bullies - swooping in to defend the defenseless and spreading a message of kindness wherever he goes. From the streets of Chicago to the rides of Knoebel's Amusement Park in Pennsylvania, Lucky proves time and again that true loyalty, courage, and compassion can come in the most unexpected forms.

Perfect for young readers ages 6-10, A Dog Named Lucky teaches powerful lessons about standing up for others, taking responsibility, and the unbreakable bond between a boy and his dog - with a little bit of magic thrown in.
